Dental costs depend on the diagnosis, procedure, materials, provider and any insurance benefits. We have not verified local provider prices, accepted plans or financing offers, so this page does not quote a Denison price range.
Ask for an itemized plan
- What is the diagnosis, and what happens if treatment is delayed?
- Which parts are essential now, and what alternatives are reasonable?
- Does the estimate include examinations, imaging, anesthesia, lab work, temporary restorations, follow-up and the final restoration?
- What could change the price?
- Is the dentist in-network for your specific plan, and what does the insurer estimate it will pay?
- If financing is offered, what are the interest rate, fees, total repayment and deferred-interest terms?
An insurance estimate is not a guarantee of payment. Confirm details directly with the insurer and office. Do not assume that a practice accepts your plan because a general website mentions insurance.
If care is hard to afford
Dental schools, community clinics and other programs may offer lower-cost care, subject to their eligibility, scope and availability. NIDCR explains options for finding dental care.
